The main seating in the hall has now been fully recovered and is looking great, with just the chairs to be updated. Gordon Wilson and a few of the lads have been beavering away, under Gordon's expert instructions, to prepare the flooring, ready for Gordon to work his magic and re-lay a brand new floor and dance floor. This is hoped to be ready very soon but is all dependant on Gordon finding some spare time in his busy day to day duties. However the man has been working hard on this for your club and photos will hopefully appear on this site in the not too distant future, which will show you exactly what has been going on and how the finished article looks.

The Presentation of Prizes night was well attended by members and guests alike and was a great success. The entertainment provided by the Kool Kats went down very well and the club dancers were out in force, well done to everyone and many thanks to the usual band of members who gave up their time and efforts to help put on this occasion.

This was the last official club event for the dancers to show off their talents on the old dance floor as it is being ripped up as I type, in preparation for a new one going down. This will be laid in tandem with brand new seating being put in and everything should be ready well in advance of our Christmas Party on December 20th.

The sheets are up on the club notice board for everyone interested in coming along to both our Christmas and Hogmanay Parties and as these are normally very well attended, it is advisable to get you names in advance if you can.
